The InwaterSolutions exhibition at the world's most important industrial trade show in Hanover also showcased a variety of marine technologies from 2015 in all their complexity. Under the slogan "Security of Supply Through Maritime Technologies, Energy, Raw Materials and Food From the Sea," ENITECH GmbH was one of 17 exhibitors presenting itself in exhibition hall 13 at the HANOVER TRADE SHOW. A special highlight was the presentation of the ENITECH autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) DORIS alpha and the live demonstrations of the mini ROV JACK from CISCREA in our large, specially equipped water basin. In addition to our product line of neutral pressure systems, customers, suppliers and business partners were especially interested in the design model of our new thruster with integrated controller.
Thank you to all of our visitors and for the interesting conversations we were able to have with you. See you next year at the Hanover Trade Show 2016!
We are proud to announce our new distribution and partnership agreement with CISCREA, France. After successful preliminary talks, CISCREA managing director David Bouchaud and ENITECH managing director Dr. Carl Thiede signed a contract at the Hanover Trade Show 2015. CISCREA offers a wide range of complex, multidisciplinary systems for marine technology and automation that can be flexibly combined and implemented with other products. CISCREA products fit seamlessly into the ENITECH GmbH product line and expand our line of systems for water depths up to 300 m. Our joint appearance at InwaterSolutions in Hannover was successful and encouraging. We’re looking forward to our future collaboration in joint projects.
The newly formed Subsea Monitoring Network e.V. presented Intelligent Marine Technology to Touch to visitors of the Hanse Sail 2014 at the Hohe Düne Marina in Warnemünde. Ten member companies, including ENITECH GmbH, presented remotely controlled measuring vehicles, underwater robots and various measuring probes that can be used in the future for sustainable exploration by maritime growth markets. Parallel to this, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s state secretary, Sebastian Schröder from the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, opened an expert workshop called the Development of Reliable Underwater Technologies – From the Baltic Sea to the Deep Sea, which took place in cooperation with the German Association for Marine Technology (GMT) and was supported by Rostock Business. At the opening Schröder commented, "With its location and scientific institutions, the city of Rostock offers the best conditions to work on the challenges facing underwater technology. Companies will be able to find partners here in the fields of research and development. In the broadest sense, marine research will be perceived as the domain of the north German states. This event demonstrates what underwater technology is capable of doing."
On Wednesday, June 11th, 2014, Rostock’s Chamber of Commerce (IHK) and the University of Rostock hosted a technology evening for Added Value in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania - In Dive at the fishing port (AFZ Education and Training Center Rostock GmbH). Using research and development projects, experts from science and industry, including ENITECH GmbH, introduced new scientific knowledge and methods from maritime control technology, as well as practical applications. During this event, the new AUV supported by the BMWi-funded project SMIS was presented to the public for the first time.
We redesigned our website with a new layout. Now you can find a lot of new information and pictures from our products and services in marine and energy technologies.
Approximately 180,000 visitors from more than a hundred countries came to the trade show. ENITECH was there for the first time with its business division, underwater technology, and was one of 22 exhibitors at the InwaterSolutions exhibit with the theme “Subsea in Motion.” The separate 400 sq.meter exhibition for maritime research and applications highlighted ocean engineering as part of the national master plan for marine technologies. This concept was confirmed in a variety of ways here. In addition to many professional discussions, we were also able to expand existing relationships and cultivate new contacts. Additionally, we had the opportunity to welcome high ranking politicians from local, federal and European governments. We would like to thank all our clients, suppliers and partners for the interesting discussions, and we’re looking forward to new and exciting projects.
